THEY took the CHRIST out of CHRISTmas? REALLY? WHAT?!?!

L49-Christ

Yes, they did. DUH.

Why should Christians be so shocked… really? I mean.. They took Christ out of CHRISTmas!

WOW!
Like they didn't try to take Christ OUT of our lives entirely when they
crucified him? Why would anyone be shocked, or surprised about this?

Even Santa Claus is a remnant of Christian tradition (um.. St. Nicholas)
that they've bastardized into a jolly fictional character that emotes
triple "ho"s.

OF COURSE they are trying to take Christ out of
Christmas… Because they THINK that salvation by "free gift" just can't
be.

They THINK that GOD taking human flesh is absurd. They THINK that
CHRIST robs them of the chance to make the most of their own lives..

There's a reason why salvation can't be purchased by good works
– it's because salvation is PRICELESS! What is priceless, can ONLY be
given as a gift.

That's why Christ was born. He was born to die. To
die to give you the gifts of salvation that you don't deserve. YOU can't
keep the CHRIST in Christmas. It's not the church's responsibility to
KEEP him there either… no one will KEEP CHRIST in Christmas… but HE
will continually make HIS Christmas known among us.. He will keep
entering into a world that says "no room" and redeeming that world.

WHOSE responsibility is it to keep Christ in Christmas? WELL.. it's
certainly NOT the responsibility of the world (they get rid of him every
chance they get!) but it's not the church's responsibility either… HE
HIMSELF keeps HIS presence among us… HE KEEPS forgiving us, while we
keep denying Him. HIS salvation will overcome our stubbornness.
